Educational Qualification
For Group-C Posts
Candidates must have:

12th Pass with at least 50% marks from a recognized board
(50% marks not required for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen or candidates with higher qualifications such as Graduation/Post-Graduation)
OR -
ITI / Act Apprentice in trades approved by NCVT/SCVT (only for technical departments like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T)
⚠️ Diploma in Engineering is not accepted as an alternative qualification.
For Erstwhile Group-D Posts
Candidates should have:

National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT
Pay Scale / Salary
Selected candidates will receive pay as per Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix, applicable to both Group-C and Erstwhile Group-D posts, along with admissible railway allowances.
