Key Responsibilities

As a Tractor Road Test Driver, you will be crucial in assessing the performance, power, and safety of Mahindra’s tractors. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Tractor Driving

  • Perform comprehensive road, power, and brake tests on Mahindra tractors.
  • Drive tractors on various terrains, including rough, smooth, and hilly surfaces, simulating real-world farming conditions.
  • Report any abnormalities or performance issues encountered during tests to the engineering team.

2. Power Testing

  • Assess the tractor’s power output and efficiency by testing under various load conditions.
  • Record data and provide valuable feedback to engineers for further improvement.

3. Brake Testing

  • Conduct detailed brake tests to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Evaluate braking performance across different speeds and conditions, ensuring Mahindra’s commitment to safety standards.

4. Road Testing

  • Perform overall tractor performance assessments by driving on specified routes that reflect real-world farming scenarios.
  • Provide test results to the quality assurance team for analysis and improvement.

5. Training Participation

  • Actively participate in Mahindra’s two-month training program, gaining hands-on knowledge of tractor mechanics, testing procedures, and safety protocols.
